Local checks

Checked text, rule packs, findings, explanations, page titles, and page origins stay on your device. Bounded findings use Chrome session storage only for the current review session. TermLock has no analytics, advertising, telemetry, fingerprinting, background page monitoring, or cloud text processing.

Licensing and payment

The extension sends only the license key you enter and a randomly generated installation ID to the TermLock licensing service for activation and status checks. Stripe processes checkout and payment data, including the purchaser email and billing or payment details. The licensing service stores Stripe Checkout and PaymentIntent identifiers, purchaser email, license status, timestamps, and the random installation IDs used by that license.

Support and hosting

Cloudflare hosts this site, the licensing service, and the support form. A support request stores its category, optional reply email, message, ticket status, and any TermLock response for up to 90 days. A viewer of the private status link can see the ticket status and TermLock response, but not the submitted email address or message. TermLock does not store an IP address, browser fingerprint, or user-agent in its licensing or support databases. Cloudflare and Stripe may process ordinary request or transaction data under their own privacy terms.

Use of data

TermLock does not sell personal data, use it for advertising or credit decisions, or transfer it for unrelated purposes.
